Avyse Partners appoint Matthew Russell as Senior Executive in Financial Crime

We’re delighted to share that Matthew Russell has joined the firm as a Senior Executive. Our Financial Crime Practice has gone from strength to strength with demand regularly outstripping supply. Matthew’s appointment is significant as it puts in place a crucial building block for the next stage of the team’s growth. Not only does Matthew bring a wealth of consulting experience that the whole firm will benefit from, his values and the firm’s values completely align.

On joining, Matthew said “As a financial crime practitioner who is passionate about helping clients to design and implement risk and compliance frameworks that are genuinely proportionate and outcomes-focused, joining the team at Avyse was the obvious next step for me. I am excited by the calibre of the financial crime professionals that I will be working with.

But financial crime is often a symptom of wider issues being experienced by my clients.  So the opportunity to work closely with the equally impressive experts across the firm to address these underlying challenges was also a big part of the reason for joining Avyse.”
