Avyse Partners appoint Will Murphy as Consultant

Will has over 12 years’ experience across legal and financial services, specifically; Debt Purchase, Asset Management, Retail Banking and Credit Broking. Will’s expertise covers enterprise risk management & governance frameworks, mortgage & consumer credit arrears and supplier oversight.

Will has a commercial and pragmatic approach to doing the right thing for the customer and the business. He has spent the last few years leading and developing Risk & Compliance Teams within Credit Brokers (Superbike Factory) and Debt Purchase Firms (Azzurro Associates). Notably, he has gained FCA authorisation for a start-up firm, designed & embedded proportionate risk management frameworks for firms of varying sizes and implemented the requirements for SM&CR.  Prior to this he spent time at the Co-op Bank working within the Credit Risk and Enterprise Risk functions. Here he helped to improve outcomes for mortgage arrears customers, worked to develop an effective governance framework and project managed a PRA mortgage asset quality review.

Will has these words to share as he joins Avyse:

“The opportunity to join Avyse at this stage of its lifecycle is so exciting. The values of the business really resonate with me. I love working in smaller entrepreneurial environments and always make sure I’m authentic, honest and open in the delivery of my work – to me, this delivers the best results. Being able to work with such a skilled set of colleagues will be fantastic for my development and I think that my “client-side” experience will be of great value and perspective to the team and our clients”.
