Diversity & Inclusion - outcomes of the FCA's multi-firm review

The FCA published the findings of its multi-firm review into how financial services firms are designing and embedding Diversity & Inclusion strategies.

Over recent times the FCA have made it clear that topics such as D&I, culture and sustainability are crucial enablers for firms to be able to deliver good outcomes for consumers and markets. We fully expect such topics to feature significantly in their supervisory (and enforcement) strategy. The FCA “encourages” firms to consider these findings in the development of their diversity and inclusion strategies and practices.

At a high level, firms need to get better at articulating WHY D&I is important to the business, and HOW it will achieve the goals it sets.

We’ve broken the paper down into four overlapping buckets that provide you with some tangible actions you can take forward in your business. It’s a fascinating topic that we come at from both a consulting angle, but also from our own business’ perspective. We’d welcome the opportunity to discuss with clients HOW they can deliver their goals.
